    Best price and quality around I've been going here for many years. Steve and Jamie are amazing at what they do.

    You start out always getting a cucumber salad + on the house. They get your first roll in the order going fast or always are watching to make sure you have something to eat. If you are drinking you usually get a free box plum wine or cold sake at some point. You can also get a free baked mussel.

    Huge portions on  the albacore and tuna are always amazing not to mention the salmon and tuna collar. I have never had something I didn't like here!!

    The best thing about this place is the guy who works behind the sushi bar (I assume he's the owner)! He's super nice & he gave us so much free extra sashimi with each order of nigiri we seriously got like 1-2 platters of sashimi at no extra cost & he poured us 3 sake drinks on the house! That's what I call customer service, we've come back here a few times cause of him. You got loyal customers from us! My favorite thing on the menu is the albacore nigiri, never had that sauce and onions on it LOVE it!

    Steve and the crew are awesome. I've been eating there for the past 5 years. I live outside Las Vegas now, but every time I'm in San Diego, it's a must to eat here. The Spicy Scallop Hand roll posted is just one example of Steve's work. Sushi N Joy will not disappoint.

    We have been loyal customers of Steve and his family for the last 5 plus years! The sushi has been amazing from day one! Always fresh and prepared as a work of art!
    Whenever we are in Oside we try to stop by-usually I order Salmon Teriyaki  and miso soup but I just needed a light lunch today-so veggie tempura and Cali rolls did it for me! Super chill little restaurant- great customer service and  REAL Japanese cuisine!  Try them and you'll see. Call ahead because it can get pretty packed, but turn over is fairly quick. They are only open for lunch a few hours too I think from 1130 to like 230pm then opens back up for dinner at 5pm.  This is the best sushi spot in Oceanside! Highly recommend. :D
